I don't prioritise Grammy over Marriage - EFYA

news of afro-neo songstress efya's stand on marriage hit the headlines in december , last year.

several media  reported efya's decision not to get married until she secures a grammy award, raising lots of eyebrows.

in a recent interview with listowell acquaye, she disclosed the public was misinformed and her statements mis-understood.

numerous reports from several showbiz websites and blogs spelled captions like:

 'I WILL MARRY AFTER I WIN GRAMMYS', 'marriage is out of my mind, until i win grammy award', I will not marry until, i win grammy awards and many more.

most of the stories quoted the 'I'm in love with you' crooner;

 "Whatever needs to be done in making the dream a reality is underway and until death do us part, it is achievable. 

Unless I die in the process, it is something I want and until I get it, I am not going off the road".

 

but what really was efya's stand on marriage,,, if she now claims the media misunderstood her ???

''I didn't say I'm not getting married unless I secure a GRAMMY! I am a young lady and all I wanna focus more on is my music carrier but if marriage presents itself at the right time along the way, why not?''

the 'currently reigning - female vocalist of the year' EFYA, told tv3 entertainment.
