FRESH: #FREEBULLDOG CAMPAIGN STARTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Ghanaians have started a campaign calling on Ghana Police Service to free Shatta Wale’s manager, Bull Dog who was arrested on Thursday, May 15 in connection with the murder of the late Emmanuel Fennec Okyere.

Reports had it that Bull Dog christened Lawrence Nana Esiama Hanson could not be bailed since murder is a non-bailable offence.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) PRO, ASP Joseph Darkwah in an interview on Hittz Fm said

Bulldog is in Police custody to help in investigation, as a prime suspect.

Asked how long Bulldog could be detained for, ASP Darkwah said as long as the investigation is ongoing and assured that, the Police is doing their best in this matter so the investigations would be done in due time.

On Saturday, May 17, a hashtag #FreeBullDog started trending on social media networks – facebook and twitter  crusading for the release of Bull Dog.
