MISS MALAIKA 2017: PEARL NYARKO MENSAH CROWNED WINNER


25-year-old student of the University of Ghana, Pearl Nyarko Mensah has successfully secured the coveted crown of the 2017 edition of Miss Malaika.

The event took place Saturday night at the national theater in Accra.

The competition had 10 young intelligent ladies with various skills and competences with the desire and goal of becoming the 15th Queen of the 2017 edition of Miss Malaika.

Putting up interesting performances and going through drills, the 10 promising young ladies exhibited their talents and leadership traits to win the coveted crown.



Pursuing an M.Phil. degree at the University of Ghana, Pearl proved herself outstanding among 9 other intelligent young ladies to claim the bragging rights of the 15th edition of Miss Malaika.

However, at the end of the exciting show, Helen Cudjoe Yevu was named 2nd runner up whilst Vanessa Xola Donkor also a student of the University of Ghana was 1st runner up.

22-year-old, Vannesa Xola Donkor also came tops ultimately winning besttalent of the 'Top 5 Pick for Best Talent' performances by the judges.



Patrons at the event were treated to some interesting performances from King Promise, Kidi, Adina and Ebony.

Judges on the night included John Dumelo, Naa Ashorkor, and Becca.
