Murder, Suicide or Accident?

*No Smoke without Fire*
The incident above happened at mamprobi about 800metres from where I stay on Monday.
The news was broke to me by a school colleague on AUCC (African University College of Communication) campus, same morning. He actually narrated he saw lots of people gathered at a popular waakye junction and bus stop called *Akoshie Junction* which is about 200metres from the Mamprobi Polyclinic.
According to my first narrator, he was told the lady had committed suicide. We both laughed about the situation, saying anyone who commits suicide because of challenges befronting them are not wise.
However, bad news is said to travel faster like wild fire destroying the forest than good news, and when I arrived home on Monday evening, the information had become the talk of the community. Infact, every where two or three persons had gathered, it was obvious the topic of discussion was not President NADAA's " *Free SHS*" and how difficult it will be for NDC to come back to power, but rather the alleged suicide committed by a beautiful lady. The one  peculiar question that lingered in all submissions is *why will you take your own life why?* .
At my popular food joint, called *Esther's Kitchen*, some folks speculated the lady may have died accidently out of an aggressive altercation with her partner.
I also encountered others at provision store joints around *Abogwe* also accused the lady of being a cheat who took advantage of his partner and that led to her fateful death.
But as a practising journalist, I was not amazed by the many different versions of stories I heard, after the main suicide angle told me by my school colleague, because its my job to find out the facts.
So, I put on my journalistic cap to ask as many questions as I could to at least help me arrive at the raw facts that led to the alleged murder, suicide or death by accident of a promising lady.
In a professional way, I tried to probe the incident by assessing the many narratives trending on the streets and popular joints at Mamprobi.
Interestingly, the results were not definite and accurate as expected, however one thing was sure, that is the assumption that the deceased is a victim of the reprisal attack from an angered man who couldn't take her cheating and dishonest personality anymore.
Eventually, deciding to pay her back with a painful exit from life through strangling.
Like the adage that says *there's no smoke without fire*, I began to question myself asking why almost everyone I attempted to get some facts from, accused the lady for probably being a cheat and that is why her life would end this way.
Professionally, as a journalist I can't accept the narratives or views of my sources unless otherwise proven to be true by an investigation conducted by the police or an autopsy report stating the facts.
A word of advice to my pretty young ladies here is that don't entertain a man you don't genuinely love. Don't accept the proposal of a man you can't proudly show to the world no matter how filthy rich he may be or look. Don't risk your life taking advantage of men you don't have genuine feelings for, and learn to be patient until you find your perfect match before starting the love journey. Truth is if the rumour above is a truth, then now you know not all men have the patience or sense of reasoning to walk away when they catch their partners cheating. So, extorting monies from a man u don't love is equally a risk that can trigger a very bad ending for you. The beautiful lady above has already joined the after-life.
Till date, no one knows the exact cause of her death until autopsy and police investigations reveal that. The young man in question is however at large. So, think about your precious life and promising future and choose the right man for the journey.
If you don't love a man, don't deceive him, take his money and enjoy with another man or play with his heart and emotions, you may be preparing a recipe for disaster you have no idea about.
As it stands the facts are that a young lady is dead but it is alleged by some people in the Mamprobi community within the Ablekuma South Constituency that she was murdered, others argued she committed suicide whilst another fraction of the speculating unit believe it was an accident. Until the police comes out to set the records straight...!
Stay safe! Live safe and Love truly. Always remember it pays to wait! Be honest!
