Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson (Bulldog), has been arrested for the murder of Fennec Okyere, manager of musician, Kwaw Kese.Bulldog was arrested Thursday afternoon after investigations by the Homicide Unit of the Police Criminal Investigative Department (CID) pointed to him as the prime suspect.
According to Public Relations Officer of the Criminal Investigative Department, ASP Joseph Darkwah, investigations established that Bulldog had issued numerous death threats on the life of Fennec Okyere.
"Since the death of Mr. Fennec Okyere, the CID has been working seriously to find out the perpetrators of his murder; also our intelligence and our men had been on the ground gathering information," he said.
ASP Darkwah noted that police intelligence gathered led to the arrest of Bulldog late Thursday afternoon.
"There have been a number of threats both verbally and through text messages from Bulldog to the deceased," he added.
He said Bulldog is currently in police custody to assist in investigations.
Bulldog is manager of dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale and CEO of Bull Haus Entertainment,.
Fennec Okyere was killed at his Manet Gardens residence on the
Spintex Road, Accra on Thursday, March 13 by unknown assailants. He died
