four groups were evicted. the remaining six (RYTHMS, ZIONIC, SACKOM, TY, ARS, AKOO) headed to the grand finale.
at the national theater, the six 'fired-up' singing groups keenly battled one another round after round.
the performances from the six groups put both judges and fans on their feet.
but after three rounds of 'themed' ministrations from singing groups, the moment of truth fo rthe most deserving singing group arrived.
'RHYTHMS' and 'ZIONIC' came 5th and 6th.
'TY' placed fourth taking home 4,000 cedis cash and the 'MOST DISCIPLINED GROUP' prize.
'SACKOM', came 2nd runner up taking home 6,000 cedis.
the battle for the most talented group was battled for between 'ARS' and 'AKOO', but patrons couldn't stop chanting the name of the '12 acapella disciples' from winneba.
history was eventually made as 'AKOO' finally emerged winners of the maiden edition of tv3's gospel reality show, CELEBRATIONS.
they took home the grand prize of 10,000cedis and 40,000cedis worth of musical equipment.
